Many ways to help
Pick-up / Deliveries
We reclaim perishable foods that still have 4-5 days of viability from local retailers.
Drivers must be 21 years old, have a valid IL drivers license, and be able to lift cases weighing up to 50 lb.
Client Service
On distribution day, serve along side dedicated volunteers to help ensure the pantry is running smoothly so that clients get the food and service they serve.
Restocking
The BWFP has a continuous flow of food items that must be sorted, processed, and stocked in preparation for client shopping.
You must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time. Some lifting may be required.
